Coming Home to Maryland: Now Serving Buyers and Sellers

Maryland has always felt like home to me.

I grew up in Anne Arundel County and have lived in Maryland for most of my life. My roots here run deep—not only through the communities that shaped me, but through the family I still have in both Anne Arundel and Harford counties.

That is why I am excited to share an important new chapter: I am now licensed to help buyers and sellers in Maryland through eXp Realty and am a member of the Harford County Association of REALTORS®.

A Maryland Story Rooted in Community

Long before real estate became my profession, education taught me what it means to listen carefully, explain clearly, and meet people where they are.

During my career, I had the privilege of teaching in Prince George’s County Public Schools, Montgomery County Public Schools, and Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Each school system—and every student, family, and colleague I met—deepened my understanding of Maryland’s diverse communities.

From established neighborhoods and growing suburbs to waterfront communities and rural landscapes, Maryland offers an extraordinary variety of places to call home. But choosing the right community is about more than a house. It is about daily life: the commute, the schools, the people, the pace, the opportunities, and the sense of belonging.

Those are the conversations I want to have with my clients.

Bringing an Educator’s Mindset to Maryland Real Estate

Buying or selling a home can feel overwhelming. There are contracts, inspections, financing decisions, deadlines, negotiations, and plenty of unfamiliar language.

My approach is grounded in the same principles that guided me as an educator: patience, preparation, honest communication, and making sure you understand your options before making a decision.

My connection to Maryland is personal. Anne Arundel County is where I grew up. Harford County is home to members of my family and represents another meaningful part of my Maryland story.

These are not simply locations on a service-area list. They are communities connected to my own life and the people I care about.

As I begin serving Maryland clients, I am especially grateful to become a member of the Harford County Association of REALTORS®.
